Spitalfields welcomes Fashion District’s next-generation designer showcase this June

Spitalfields E1 is delighted to welcome back Fashion District for a one-off showcase celebrating London’s most exciting emerging fashion talent.

Taking place on Tuesday 2 June 2026, the event will bring together next-generation designers, digital creativity and future-focused fashion in the heart of East London, presented in partnership with SXSW London.

Taking place in the heart of the market, the showcase will redefine the traditional runway through design, technology and innovation. Creatively directed by Kim Howells, the event will feature a curated line-up of emerging fashion designers, soundtracked by DJ Mr Redley.

Animating the C-Screen in the centre of the market, next-gen fashion will extend beyond the physical, using new technology to blur the boundaries between light, movement and digital form. The result will be an immersive fashion experience that explores how the industry is evolving in response to culture, creativity and innovation.

Alongside the showcase, visitors can also experience Digital Umbra, a collaboration between the Fashion Innovation Agency and Jason Bruges Studio, running from Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 June. The installation captures shadows to create a shared experience that blends the physical and virtual worlds.

Whether you love fashion, are curious about technology, or are simply looking for something inspiring to do in London this summer, this is a chance to discover what the future of style could look like, right here in the heart of Spitalfields.

Following the showcase, an official After Party will take place at ALFI, offering the chance to connect with the creatives shaping the future of fashion.
