It’s official, Spitalfields Market is back! We’re thrilled to announce the reopening of our wonderful stores, restaurants and pubs with outdoor seating and the return of our irreplaceable indoor market – all of which we hope you will agree have been truly missed! Not only will you be able to shop in stores and support your treasured traders again, but the famous Arts Market returns this month, too. What are you waiting for? It’s time to plan a visit to your favourite East London market!

Outdoor Drinking and Dining

Nothing beats a good old catch up (12 months’ worth!) with a group of friends enjoying good food and delicious drinks, right? You’re in luck because booking reservations for your favourite foodie hotspots are now open!

Whether you’re gathering a group of six together for pizza and ping pong at Players Social or soaking in the traditional pub vibes at The Grocer, trying out the new brunch menu under the gorgeous pergola at Brother Marcus or indulging in charcuterie and fine wines at Galvin Bistrot & Bar, there’s something for everyone at Spitalfields. Food Trucks on the Move

Lamb Street is looking pretty lonely at the moment to make way for the redevelopment work, but take a wander around the corner, and you’ll discover more street food than you can shake a biodegradable wooden fork at! (Check out our sustainability pledge here!)

Smokoloko, Ebby’s Kitchen, The Duck Truck, Rainbo, and The Coop have all temporarily relocated to Bishops Square.

Mamma’s Goodies, Crosstown, Lovely Pasta and Mr Bombay will be joined by a brand-new Pan-Asian joint, Bamboo House, on Crispin Place.

The Arts Market is Back!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Arts Market will be back at Spitalfields every month, starting this April. Catch our creative bunch from April 30th- to May 3rd in Crisping Place.

We’re Having a Makeover

If you’re local to East London, you may be noticing some changes around the place very soon – think of it as our post-lockdown glow up! Not only are we updating our incredible store offering and introducing some very exciting new brands, but we’re making some changes to the actual market, too.

Our plan includes taking the roof off to welcome in more of the glorious spring sun, making shops more accessible and building a wildflower and sedum green roof to support wildlife and help us continue our journey to a more sustainable future. Watch this space for updates!
