Shop Small at Spitalfields

15/09/2021

They do say good things come in small packages, right? Then you’re in luck when it comes to Spitalfields! Compromising of over 100 small businesses, our Traders Market showcases incredible hand-crafted and hard-to-find pieces – many of which are made in extremely small quantities, making them that little bit extra special.

Spend the day browsing an uncompromising array of independent stall holders selling homeware, fashion, accessories, skin care and a multitude of other trinkets you didn’t know you needed. Not only that, the stallholders themselves are so dedicated to their craft that they would love nothing more than to tell you more about their passion, and how their small business began.

We’re working to bring the traders and artists to the attention of the next generation, so when you’re out and about, make sure you tag us on social! With something for everyone here at Spitalfields Market, come along today and feel the genuine charm of a proper East London welcome. Allow us to introduce you to some of our talented traders below.

Urban Driftwood

With an ever-growing emphasis on recycling and sustainability in society, Urban Driftwood is a standout brand that uses wood that would otherwise be destroyed, to create unique pieces of homeware and garden décor. With products ranging from lamps, spoons and wall mounted bottle openers, rescuing damaged or unused wood can often mean the shape and size of the liberated wood can dictate the design, making every piece completely unique.

Find Urban Driftwood every Friday and Saturday in the Traders Market.

Elements by Nature

Elements by Nature is inspired by the patterns and forms found in nature and uses them to create beautifully unique statement jewellery. Using natural stones and feathers to create rings, necklaces and earrings gives an incredible variation in design, and the recycled materials makes each piece completely one-of-a-kind.

Daiane creates the jewellery in her London studio and trades in the market from Tuesday to Saturday.

Laura B Interiors

Looking for something to give your room a refresh? Laura B Interiors designs quirky hand-illustrated wall prints and homeware accessories that are ideal for adding some character into your home. Inspired by British heritage, each item is crafted by hand using only the finest materials – shunning industrial manufacture and supporting British Craft. Not only this, Laura’s love for the environment means 2.5% of each sale is donated to a wildlife conservation – even more reason to stock up!

Find Laura B Interiors in the Traders Market once a month. Check out her socials for updates.
