Lamb Street Lunching is Back!

13/06/2023

We’re over the moon to be able to unveil the brand-new-and-improved Lamb Street! Not only has Market Street had a vibrant refresh, welcoming the likes of Townhouse, Coach and a month-long pop-up from super cool Lone Design Club, East London locals will be thrilled to find ‘food street’ has been restored to its former glory – and then some!

Find your favourite food trucks in their new home behind The Grocer, along with some very exciting new additions. Whether you’re in the mood to tuck into tacos, fuel up on gluten-free fish and chips or polish off a Pad Thai, there is something for everyone to enjoy from one of the mouth-watering new vendors.

The Wicked Fish

Coeliacs rejoice! Fresh, ethically sourced produce from quality suppliers and it’s all gluten-free? The Wicked Fish is a chippie with a ‘so-fish-ticated’ twist, serving up seafood, burgers and hot dogs with a difference. The menu offers everything from the signature Wicked Fish and chips (make sure you get a tub of the house tartare sauce – it’s something special!), fresh Scottish lobster and a variety of flavour-packed ‘dogz’, there’s no catch, the food really is ‘ex-squid-sit’!

Punk Chef

Meet Scott, the chef who is passionate about championing sign language and food together. From culinary school to a whirlwind TV career, award-winning chef Scott hasn’t let his disability hinder him, in fact it has become his superpower! He now uses his Punk Chef platform to show the deaf community how easy it is to make simple and tasty meals and that their disability should not be seen as a barrier to learning a new skill either. Find Scott and his trademark pink mohawk serving up a real mixed bag on the menu, lovingly prepared by and supporting the deaf community.

Rudie’s

Bringing a truly authentic taste of modern Jamaica to Spitalfields, Rudie’s Jerk Shack is the place to be when it comes to getting your hands on some of the best jerk chicken around. The secret to succulent, seasoned-to-perfection meat is down to Rudie’s homemade jerk marinade – from the lengthy marinating process to the essential ingredient required for the result, mouth-watering Real Jerk. A true Jamaican labour of love!

Dos Mas Tacos

Birria tacos have landed on Lamb Street, we repeat, birria tacos have landed on Lamb Street! After the success of their Canary Wharf debut, Dos Mas Tacos are ready to take over East London lunches with their juicy seasonal menus. Each dish takes inspiration from traditional Mexican cuisine, paying respect to the authentic flavours and cooking methods of Latin American culture combined with modern street-eating, tailored around London life.

Pizza Guys

From the piazzas of Caserta to the historic streets of Spitalfields, Pizza Guys have chosen right here to open their first UK residency. The menu combines all the finest flavours and fresh produce of Italy with European recipes to create crisped-to-perfection sourdough bases, smothered with various toppings sure to treat your tastebuds. You’re sure to want a ‘pizza’ these guys!
