London Play Formula Fun

As part of our community engagement programme, on Sunday 5th September we will be hosting an exciting event with locally-based children’s non-profit London Play.

The children of London have been invited to join the best and biggest go-kart race event London has ever seen. In the grand finale, Spitalfields will welcome 4 teams of children from disadvantaged backgrounds who will build go-karts on Bishops Square as part of City Hall’s ‘Let’s Do London’ campaign.

The children aged 8 – 12 will be given a design brief and the theme is “a taste of Spitalfields”. Once the kart is complete, the teams will take turns putting it through its paces.
