Meet your new soil-mate

16/03/2023

Ready to freshen up your living space with some much-needed greenery? Whether you’re adding some bird’s of paradise to your bedroom, a peace lily to your lounge or a snake plant to your study, The Plant Warehouse is open 7 days a week on Brushfield street to fill that Swiss-cheese plant shaped hole in your heart and offer some much-needed peace and tranquillity into your home.

Meet the (almost) un-killables

There’s no shame in being accused of murdering your plants, but don’t let a bad experience or two put you off. And hey, even the most experienced plant parents have fatalities! To ensure the highest rate of success (and survival!) why not test the waters with some ‘unkillable’ plants. They don’t mind too much about their sunlight conditions and won’t wilt at the first forgotten watering. Our favourites include the Chinese money plant (for obvious reasons!), snake plant and Kenita palm.

Still unsure which one is for you? Head in-store! The team will be more than happy to help you pick your project.

Feeling stressed?

Turn grey days green with the addition of some beautiful indoor plants! There are a huge number of reports and trials that show that caring for plants and having access to nature and the great outdoors can improve physical and mental health. So not only does a little new-found foliage look great, but it’s also been proven to have a positive effect on reducing stress and lifting our mood.

Giving trees

What’s better than the opportunity to give the gift of life? As beautiful as flower bouquets are, the lifespan is considerably shorter than a pot plant, so why not treat that special someone in your life to something sustainable and striking? Flowering plants like orchid’s, anthurium’s and Ostara’s all have the ability to add some vibrancy and colour into the home, require minimal maintenance and thrive all year round.

Join the plant-lovers community

Plant parents unite! There are so many green-fingered communities online to help you care for your plants, seeds and bulbs. Whether you’re looking to level up and propagate from fresh cuttings, need advice on safety around pets or you’re looking for urban jungle inspiration from the professionals, you’ll be able to find it online. Why not upload your purchases to Instagram and tag @theplantwarehouse for a chance to feature on their page?
