Make it your Mother’s Day

22/03/2022

We’re here to ensure no mums are missing out on the Mother’s Day they deserve this March. For the first lockdown-free day dedicated to your dearest ma, there is no excuse to be holding back, especially when Spitalfields is offering up a huge range of gorgeous gifts to make this year one to remember. Whether it’s a family games night or a delicious dinner, you won’t struggle to find it in East London’s favourite market.

Spitalfields is home to both the failsafe classics and the outlandish eyecatchers when it comes to gift ideas. As well as permanent retailers, we host over 100 traders who come and go throughout the week, meaning there is always something new to find. Click here for more information on who you can find in the market.

Pampered to Perfection

Mother's Day Malin and Goetz

Who doesn’t love to be pampered? Not us… and definitely not our mums who are incapable of turning down some luxury self-care from Malin+Goetz. With products ranging from luxury night creams to opulent candles, you can find the range of their best selling products in-store and online, designed to make any Mother’s day.

If you need more than just gift ideas for mum, then checkout Malin+Goetz’s gift sets, designed to make gift giving easier and the lucky recipient even happier!

If mums were flowers, I’d pick you

Mother's Day Plant Warehouse

Essential for any Mother’s Day celebration, flowers have been part of this national holiday since it began. Synonymous with the start of spring, the tradition began when people were encouraged to visit their ‘mother church’, and see their family. As they walked back, the spring flowers would be in full bloom, and the traveller would pick wildflowers to present to their mothers.

Want to know where to find wildflowers in East London? You simply must visit The Plant Warehouse! Their selection of plants, flowers and terrariums are second to none. Find their shop on Brushfield street packed to the rafters with ideal additions to your mum’s house plant collection – open 7 days a week.

Cross that one off your list

Mother's Day Crosstown

A day to delight and indulge in tasty treats, the ultimate Mother’s Day gift ideas are one’s involving food. Crosstown are here to help with that as they are serving up their limited edition Mother’s day gift boxes, made up of bites, chocolate, drinks, candles and anything Crosstown, ready for delivery or collection from March 25th. Pre-order now for the pinnacle of doughy perfection.

If a spontaneous Crosstown field trip is more likely, they will be in Spitalfields market from 10 until 5 to make sure your mothers don’t miss a thing!

BRACE-let yourselves!

Mother's Day Naye London

Jewellery is as much a part of Mother’s Day as flowers are, and when you have designers crafting their own work like the ones we have in Spitalfields, it’s not hard to see why. Market favourite, Naye, create simple and elegant jewellery designed to be minimalist while taking inspiration from elegant Korean styles.

Masters of creating outfit inspiring bracelets, earrings and necklaces, explore their range on the Naye London website, or here in the Traders Market.
