Periodical

Periodical is a womenswear brand, specialising in comfortable, effortless styles, designed for wearing whilst on your period. These small-batch ranges are hand-screen-printed, sustainability produced and made from 100% cotton, making them perfect for wearing day or night.

Periodical was founded by Roma in February 2020. Roma has always been passionate about spreading awareness and diminishing stigma attached to Periods. After studying Fashion Buying Management and the University of Westminster (and deciding that she did not want to work for a large-scale fashion brand), she decided to start a company that helped women to feel comfortable and confident during their period and to try and break down the many negative associations with being ‘on’. The overall concept of ‘Periodical’ is to be a platform where women can come when they are on their period, to gain information, shop styles that make them feel good and treat themselves to other products that will help them to have a happier period.
