28 North is the latitude of the Canary Islands, where designer and maker Miguel is from.

Miguel is a one-man band, carefully selecting his leathers to turn into made-to-measure belts at Spitalfields Market – right in front of your eyes, with traditional hand tools in under five minutes.

Miguel’s belts are an experience in themselves. Customers watch the process and purchase a handmade belt made from top quality materials that will last a lifetime.

Using only hand tools on high quality leathers, creating my own decoration techniques, I try to deliver a solid product with a clean finish and a cool modern look. All handmade with extreme care and love, inspired by my passion for leather works and London itself as a city full of sources of creativity. Sharing with people what I most like…making them happy with the experience…that is my objective.
