Mason’s Lobster Roll is bringing the spirit of the New England coast to London with the opening of its first UK location at Spitalfields Market.
The story began when Mason’s founders discovered the lobster roll while travelling through New England. Inspired by the simplicity of the iconic coastal dish (and by the quality and care required to make it properly) they set out to introduce it to a new European audience.
Mason’s opened its first location in Milan, followed by Florence, creating a contemporary, city-focused interpretation of the traditional American lobster shack. Now, the brand is beginning its next chapter in London.
At the heart of Mason’s is the lobster roll: a New England classic rooted in the coastal traditions of Maine and Connecticut. Its apparent simplicity is precisely what makes quality so important. Carefully selected ingredients, thoughtfully developed recipes and a focus on allowing the flavour of the lobster to take centre stage define the Mason’s approach.
The menu is designed for the rhythm of the city: quick and informal, but never an afterthought. Whether stopping by for lunch, meeting friends or taking a break while exploring Spitalfields, guests can enjoy high-quality seafood in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
From Milan and Florence to its first London home, Mason’s has remained focused on one clear idea: serving an authentic lobster roll with simplicity, consistency and genuine respect for the dish that inspired it.
