La Scarpetta is an Italian street food concept inspired by one of Italy’s most loved food traditions: “fare la scarpetta” – using a piece of bread to mop up every last drop of delicious sauce from your plate. We bring this simple, joyful ritual to London through comforting, generous and flavour-packed dishes.
Our menu celebrates homemade Italian-style ragù, served with freshly baked bread and toppings designed for dipping, scooping and, of course, making the perfect scarpetta. From our rich Bolognese meatball ragù and spicy Neapolitan pork ragù to our Sicilian-inspired vegan ragù, every dish is made to be enjoyed with your hands and finished properly.
