Galvin HOP Bistrot & Bar is modelled on bistrots and bar a vins fashionable in Paris, New York and cool cities around the globe.
Michelin-starred brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin have written a short menu of carefully sourced ingredients that is market driven and champions great provenance. All produce is ethically grown and harvested by farmers, fisherman and suppliers we have known personally for many years. The talented kitchen team produce modern classic dishes created with a wood-fired oven and open grills.
Their charcuterie counter serves artisanal cured meat with unpasteurised farmhouse cheeses and pickles for one or more to share, all perfectly matched with their great wine selection. The brewery-fresh Czech Pilsner is housed in huge copper tanks above the bar.
For wine lovers, HOP offers a cutting-edge wine system serving boutique and delicious wines on tap as well as a selection of wines by the bottle. La Chapelle’s extensive wine list is available too for extra special occasions.
The décor is eclectic with bare brick, tiles, granite counters, and a handmade Pewter bar with an open kitchen and stylish prints.
