Founded in 2012, Ebby’s kitchen was born from a love of cooking and keeping food delicious and ‘fuss-free’.
Having started off trading their authentic Turkish food at Alexandra Palace, and later as part of the Startisans market, Ebby’s Kitchen have now moved a permanent food truck – affectionately named ‘Melissa’ – into Lamb Street here at Spitalfields.
One of the most popular items on their menu is the famous ‘Baba Köfte’ – the product that started it all, named after Ebby’s father’s original recipe. It remains a firm favourite among customers, and can be enjoyed with a choice of either a tasty torilla wrap or a gluten-free salad box, and topped with hummus, chilli or garlic sauce, and even freshly grilled halloumi. Other highlights include the more recently launched chicken köfte, and halloumi fries.
Regardless of your chosen meal, you can be sure it will be true to Ebby’s key values of keeping food fresh, simple and tasty, so come and visit on your next lunchbreak, or drop by the next time you’re exploring Spitalfields over the weekend – Ebby’s Kitchen are open seven days a week!
