Crosstown is a London based concept that launched as a market stall on Leather Lane in 2014. The business specialises in creating handmade doughnuts that are made fresh 365 days a year. Crosstown prides itself on utilising the best ingredients to create unique, tasty premium doughnuts in a variety of flavours to satisfy the discerning Londoner’s cravings.
Our dough is a unique hybrid recipe that combines sourdough and fresh bakers’ yeast. The result is a dough that has a stronger, denser crumb with a slight chew that still remains light, and has less fat absorption compared to other doughnuts. All of our doughnut fillings, glazes and toppings are made in-house by our bakers and contain no additives or preservatives.
Crosstown doughnuts can be found at various markets throughout London, as well as in select retailers such as Selfridges, Wholefoods, Air New Zealand (served on Business Class to LA) and an array of independent stores across London. In May 2015, Crosstown opened its first permanent store in the heart of Soho, pairing doughnuts with artisan coffee.
