About Tatty Brown
Fed up of trawling the high street, Miranda decided to design and make her own collection with the best quality fabrics she could lay her creative hands on! It was an overnight success, being worn by Emma Watson (of Harry Potter fame and now the face of Burberry) and Tamara Salaman, former creative director of Liberty.
Approached by Topshop and Whistles, one month after launching, Miranda was keen to keep the brand as small and as unique as it remains today.
Each piece is still handmade in her North London studio. Tatty Brown designs are classically British with a quirky, contemporary edge. Competitively priced, they remain a great investment for any wardrobe.
Showgirl Knickers, Aspens Tops & Always Something New
Because of the success of the collection, Tatty Brown has introduced some exciting new colours for Spring/Summer 2011. The Aspen Tops are available in mouth watering shades of Neapolitan & Pistachio!
The 'Showgirl' Knickers are a key trend this year, accompanying those sheer skirts as seen on all the catwalks. Watch out for a bridal version coming out later in Spring!
Also, worth a look are Tatty Brown's one of a kind necklaces, made from the finest Brazilian Agate, and available at extremely affordable prices.
However, come and see for yourself, one of a kind, handmade pieces are being added to the collection all the time and only available at Spitalfields Market on Sundays. Don't miss out!
