BOLONGARO TREVOR

Bolongaro Trevor is the brainchild of British designers Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor, founders and former designers behind the retail store group All Saints.

The Spitalfields store houses the latest Bolongaro Trevor collections of menswear and womenswear, as well as their usual antiquities and vintage finds.

Designers Kait and Stuart take inspiration from their ever expanding collection of military uniforms and vintage finds amassed over the past 20 years and generally rework the original piece to create a new look by customising, overdyeing, adding our own original prints, buttons pockets, zips and trims. Turning every garment in to that ‘must have’ piece.

The Bolongaro Trevor design studio is based a short walk from Spitalfields in an old Victorian tea warehouse. Here they produce small, exclusive quantities of each design, regularly working with a couple of small factories in East London. Indeed the brand remains firmly British, inspired by the heritage and history of Britain, London their East-Ender surroundings.

"With a company head office based in Hoxton, in an old Victoria Tea house it was an inevitable move back to our roots in the East." said designer Stuart Trevor.

Celebrity Crush

With a Rock 'n' Roll/Mod influence and a moody darkness reminiscent of Victorian London, the brand is sought after by the coolest bands, celebrities and stylists. Daisy Lowe, Agyness Deyne, Kate Moss, Leighton Meester, Helena Bonham Carter, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale (Bush) are all fans. As is The Who’s Roger Daltry who wore Borongaro Trevor for the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
